Medium upright shrubby perennial, to 1.5m high. Large coral red semi-tubular flowers, held above the mid-green foliage on a long stem, appear mainly from spring through into autumn. The bright red colouring acts as a beacon to attract insects to the plant. Tolerates the hot summer season, the winter cold and light frosts. Responds well to pruning.
